Membership
membership of Thakali Sewa Samiti Australia inc
Membership application will only be accepted from person of Thakali origin with surnames: GAUCHAN, SHERCHAN, TULACHAN and BHATTACHAN, and currently residing in any region of Australia.
Membership fees will be collected only once in a term (3 year period) and following rates apply:
a. All citizens and Permanent Resident $300 per family (Dhuri)
with additional $100 for every adult in the household. Anyone under 18 years are exempt from paying their membership fees.
b. All citizens and Permanent Residents
single $100 per person.
c. All students (local and international) $50 per person.
d. Rest members including Temporary Residency holder $100 per person.
e. Extra contributions/donations are welcome.
All thakalis (Four Chans) currently residing in Australia will automatically be considered as members of Thakali Sewa Samiti Australia. However, for the purpose of obvious finance related operations logistics, aforementioned categorized membership fee will be collected in a voluntary basis. As such services rendered by the association will be made more readily available and given priority to members who have financially contributed in the form of membership fee.
